New Zealand's Daryl Mitchell has been named the winner of the ICC Spirit of Cricket Award 2021 for his gesture during New Zealand vs England semifinal in the 2021 ICC Men's T20 World Cup in Abu Dhabi.
The Ministry of Women and Child Development has extended the PM Cares for Children Scheme till February 28, 2022. Earlier the scheme was valid till December 31, 2021. Under this scheme, Rs 10 lakh would be spent by the Government on each child.
The legendary Nightingale of India, Lata Mangeshkar honoured with Bharat Ratna in 2001. Besides Bharat Ratna, Lata Mangeshkar was honoured with Padma Vibhushan in 1999 and the Rajiv Gandhi Award in 1997. The singer had also won three National Awards.
