Uttar Pradesh has become the top producer of vegetables, getting back its first position by demoting West Bengal to the second position, with a difference of a million tonnes in production in 2021-22 Crop Year (CY) (July-June), after two years since 2020.
Aprajita Sharrma, an Indian Post & Telecom Account and Finance (IP&TAF) Service officer from 1995 batch, has been appointed as the vice-chairperson of Council Standing Committee on Administration and Management of International Telecommunication Union (ITU).
The Advisory Committee will be chaired by the Union Minister of Electronics and IT, Ashwini Vaishnaw, while the Minister of State, Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY), Rajeev Chandrashekhar will be the Vice-Chairperson.
