The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries has appointed Kuwaiti oil executive Haitham Al Ghis as its new Secretary-General, as oil demand continues to improve amid a mild recovery from the coronavirus pandemic.
The parliamentary standing committee constituted to examine "The Prohibition of Child Marriage (Amendment) Bill, 2021" comprise of total 31 members, including only one women representative.
