One side of a parallelogram is 8.06 cm and its perpendicular distance from opposite side is 2.08 cm. What is the approximate area of the parallelogram?
Area of square = 40 x 40 = 1600 sq.cm Given that the areas of Square and Rectangle are equal => Area of rectangle = 1600 Sq.cm We know that, Area of rectangle = L x B Given L = 64 cm Breadth of rectangle = 1600/64 = 25 cm Perimeter of the rectangle = 2(L + B) = 2(64+25) = 178 cm.
clearly the cow will graze a circular field of area 9856 sq m and radius equal to the length of the rope.
Let the length of the rope be r mts then,
= 9856
= (9856 × 7) / 22 = 3136
r = 56 m
Let a = 13, b = 14 and c = 15. Then, s = 1 2 a + b + c =21 (s- a) = 8, (s - b) = 7 and (s - c) = 6. Area = s s - a s - b s - c = 21 × 8 × 7 × 6 = 84 sq.cm
