World Thinking Day, originally known as Thinking Day, is celebrated annually on 22 February by all Girl Guides / Girl Scouts, and the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts worldwide.
The biography of Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore titled "A History of Sriniketan: Rabindranath Tagore's Pioneering Work in Rural Construction", written by historian and Tagore biographer Uma Das Gupta has been released.
The idea to celebrate International Mother Language Day came first from Bangladesh. The idea was approved at the 1999 UNESCO General Conference. The day has been observed every year since the year 2000.
