The President honoured 29 outstanding women achievers for their exceptional work towards women empowerment, especially the marginalized and vulnerable women. Overall, 28 awards were conferred, 14 awards each for the years 2020 and 2021.
The United Nations has recognised March 24 to be is being celebrated as the International Day for the Right to the Truth concerning Gross Human Rights Violations and for the Dignity of Victims every year.
