The tournament was held at Volleyball Federation Hall, Tehran, Iran from 15 to 22 August 2022. Indian men's volleyball team won the bronze medal by defeating Korea 3-2 in the 14th Asian U-18 Championship in Tehran.
Denmark's Viktor Axelsen clinched the men's singles title at the 2022 BWF World Championships while Akane Yamaguchi of Japan defeated Olympic champion China's Chen Yufei to retain the women's singles title.
