Krishna Deva Raya himself authored Amukthamalyadha. It is in Telugu. He was known as ‘Abhinava Bhoja’, ‘Andhra Pitamah’, ‘Andhra Bhoja’ as he was great patron of art and literature.
Al Biruni was made court astrologer in Ghazni and he accompanied with Mahmud on his invasions on India. He lived for several years here and is considered to be first Indologist.
Tall minarets were the significant and one of the earliest features of Islamic architecture. A double dome is built of two layers.
